“ I recently completed Aloha basic obedience with my approximately 7yr pit bull german shepherd. I like most people thought it was impossible to train an older dog. After reaching out to Mary Lou and sharing the issues I’ve been having with my dog she suggested I sign up for basic obedience. I couldn’t be more blown away by how fast my dog responded to her technique. It’s not to say there hasn’t been bumps along the way, there has! But the crew at Aloha go above and beyond to ensure you and your dog are successful! The things I’ve learned in this process are endless. The knowledge alone has been a game changer for us. They truly cover it all in this course. The facility itself is amazing offering tons of space and play in a clean non toxic environment. The staff are kind, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. We were also able to purchase all our equipment in shop which was convenient for us since we work and would come from work to training. It’s been an extremely rewarding experience for us. “Flynn and I failed Grade 1 from a different facility. I felt so defeated that after spending 6 weeks in class and training at home, he still drags me, still reactive at bunnies, cyclists and runners and that he was still in control. That weekend, Aloha K9 popped out of my FB newsfeed and we found ourselves starting another set of class. Was I hopeful that it will be different this time, YES. Did I even bother setting expectations, ABSOLUTELY and I STILL daydreamed that Aloha K9 is the trainer Flynn and I are looking for. Aloha K9 did not disappoint. 2 weeks into training, I was able to walk Flynn downtown Clear Lake on a busy August long weekend, heeling wonderfully beside me. My 13 y/o daughter who is scared to walk Flynn was so proud of herself that she was able to wait outside the restaurant with Flynn and all the passersby + 3 German Shepard hanging out 10ft away of them. No barking, no lunging, no dragging, Flynn was just chilling. I can go on and on on how Flynn and I can now walk around the neighbourhood and the park without me being dragged, without him leading the way, without him standing on his hind legs every time he sees bunnies, without him trying to lunge at cyclists and without him barking at runners. Even my neighbours, people I don’t talk to told me “Your dog is doing a good job” If you’ve read my review until here, do not hesitate, go enrol yourself to their Beginner’s class - best investment and decision I’ve made.”

“Really happy with our experience so far. Our boy gets so excited for Muttessori day. He loves going - which lets me know he is treated well and he is one tired pup when he gets home. Clean facility, lots of space for the dogs, knowledgeable staff and great little gifts for pet parents. Looking forward to the training in the new year.”
